Why weekri exists

Most productivity tools are great at collecting and terrible at finishing. weekri is our attempt at the opposite.

Somewhere along the way, planning apps stopped helping us plan and started helping us hoard. They made it effortless to add one more task, and before long the list was a running tally of everything we hadn't done — a quiet source of guilt we opened every morning. The tools got more powerful, and we felt more behind.

weekri starts from a different question: what would you actually like to finish this week? Not this quarter, not someday — this week. When the answer is a small, honest handful of commitments, something shifts. The week stops feeling like a backlog and starts feeling possible.

What we believe

  • A week is the right unit. Long enough to matter, short enough to finish.
  • Doing less on purpose is how you finish more. Focus beats capacity.
  • Finishing should feel good. Progress is worth celebrating, not just logging.
  • A clean slate beats a growing backlog. Every week deserves a fresh start.
  • Calm is a feature. A planner shouldn't shout at you with streaks and guilt.

How weekri works

We built the whole app around that one constraint: keep the week small enough to finish. You commit to a few things for the week. You focus on a couple at a time instead of juggling everything at once. And at the end of the week, you run a short review that celebrates what you finished, clears the leftovers, and rolls you into a clean new week.

There's no sprawling project hierarchy, no backlog to groom, no dashboards to maintain. The result is calmer and, we think, paradoxically more productive — because when you do less on purpose, you finish more.

Where to start

If you're new to the idea, start with how a weekly planner works, learn the weekly review that keeps it going, and see how to set weekly goals you actually finish. weekri is available on iPhone.

Plan a week you can actually finish

weekri turns this rhythm into a habit — commit to a few things, focus on a couple at a time, and run a guided weekly review that rolls you into a clean new week.
